This album opened me up to a whole new perspective on sound, and I have been obsessed with NWW since hearing it. This album is such a freakish nightmare, and it totally screwed with my head. I love it. I would also like to add that the first time I listened to Thunder Perfect Mind, I gave myself sleep paralysis. Kind of neat.

I really don't mind all of these old coil related tracks coming out now. This one in particular is quite decent, with slights hints of "unaltered" sounds that may have eventually became worship the glitch. The extra tracks are good too.

Amazing from start to finish. Sort of like encountering Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music for the first time, it's like stepping off a spiral staircase into the deep end of a whole 'nother universe of mysteries. "Triptik 2", the closer, is one of the most jaw-droppingly strange/hypnotic collisions of jazz, electronica, psychedelia and WTF I've ever heard - and yet it somehow works. Bought both volumes just on the strength of the first one & hoping there are many more to be issued.
